Clarksville is such a lovely little town right on the Mississippi. There are great shops, Bed and Breakfasts, Overlook Farms Restaurant and much more. For the quaint town to really reach its potential…the Skylift must be reopened. Visitors need more to do while visiting.
I remember taking my 18 yo son there when he was a baby right before it closed….so it has been a long time shuttered. I got excited when I saw the sign below on the structure, though I understand that it has been there a while with no progress.
