Today I had a luncheon and tour of Pike County highlights/ landmarks for a group of 20. I donated an auction item to the HRC last year. We had a lovely day. I served chicken salad, curry rice salad and watermelon/mint/feta salad. We toured St. John's Church (1st Episcopalian Church west of the Mississippi), the Rockford School House, the historic McIlroy farm & the Elgin Cottrel House in Clarksville. After the tour we feasted on blackberry, cherry and peach pie with ice cream! Another Pike County Tour Today Above is the historic McIlroy farm (circa $1850's).
