Pike County, this lovely land of large farms with gracious homes dating to the early 1800's, has long  been known as the Little Dixie of Missouri.  This tour will focus on the areas around Eolia, Clarksville and Paynesville.  You will visit historic St. John's Church – the first Episcopalian Church West of the Mississippi; the Griffith McCune Farmstead wit its spacious brick house, original smoke house and cotagonal barn; historic Elgin Cottrell Home; Three Barn Farm and more!  Lunch will be enjoyed in Clarksville at the popular Station Restaurant at Overlook Farm with extra time for visiting the charming antiqu shops and putting your toes in the Mississippi!

The trip will depart from and return to 911 Washington Avenue.  Boarding for the motorcoach will occur at the rear of the Lammert Building.  All-day parking ($4 typically) is available in adjacent lots.

Limited to 50 participants. $65 per person, $75 per person for non-members.  Reservations may be made by calling 314.421.6474.
